All participants will have the opportunity to showcase their talents on the field in front of several college coaches through a series of key activities and evaluations:

Yes, unless otherwise noted all participants can wear metal spikes. We encourage teams playing on a Turf surface to bring Turf Shoes or Sneakers as well. Please have your teams bring sneakers to all camps in case of inclement weather and having to be moved indoors.

Yes, all metrics taken at camp during Day 1, as well as in-game pitcher velocity, will be sent out to your travel coach and the college coaches after the conclusion of Camp.

Yes, we encourage the interaction between players and coaches for the benefit of both parties. Our camps are a unique way for College Coaches to be on-ground and get an overview of the player beyond just metrics. Additionally, our camps are a great way for Players to get to know a College Coach outside of an email or phone call.

Day 1 is a chance for players to not only test in baseball related metrics, but receive instruction and extended periods of time to showcase their skills to College Coaches. In your 3 hour session on Day 1, all players will start with our Camp Introduction to cover housekeeping details, as well as understand the purpose of Camp. They will then be led through a full stretch and throw routine by Total Skills Staff members and College Coaches. Players will receive a short defensive instruction period as well as participate in a station rotation in which they will take BP on the field, play live defense on the field, test their metrics, and receive hitting instruction from college coaches. At the conclusion of your assigned session, players are free to depart camp.

This is a personal preference. We encourage all players to be at camp to be around College Coaches and help their Travel Team. If a player does any type of position/hitting work, we encourage them to go through Day 1 as a position player. We do not do any pitching instruction or metric testing on Day 1 in an effort to keep arms healthy for the Games.

Our games are 7 innings long or a 1 hour and 50 minute time limit. Each half inning is either 3 outs, or 5 batters long.

Each Travel Team will be assigned a College Coach or two to help assist in coaching during their Game each day. The College Coaches will hit infield/outfield, as well as coach the base boxes. Travel Coaches are responsible for setting lineups and making pitching changes.

All of our camps allow the use of Metal bats. Players are welcomed to swing whichever bat they prefer, however we encourage the use of Metal bats.

Yes, at all of our camps we provide a certified and professional Athletic Trainer. The Trainer is there to handle any medically related issues. It is the responsibility of the Travel Coach to be aware and alert the trainer of any pre-existing conditions or allergies in case of a medical emergency.

Your Travel Coach should provide you with a set time of arrival for your game depending on the schedule. We encourage players to arrive early, and all players are welcome to be at camp before or after their game to watch the other games.

No, Total Skills will provide each starter for each game with a game ball to warm up with. Total Skills will provide all game balls throughout the games. Travel Coaches will be responsible for providing practice balls for pre-game warm-ups and in between innings. If you are in need of practice balls for use at camp please let a Total Skills Staff Member know upon arrival to Camp.

UNLESS NOTIFIED please show up to the field at your specified time.  Should rain or lightning occur while activities are taking place on the field, spectators, coaches and players will be directed to indoor facilities for their own safety and protection.

In the event ALL activities are not able to be conducted, coaches and players will be notified as soon as possible not to show up at the field. Alternate plans and a make-up date will be scheduled.

No ..... unless stated in the camp description lunch is NOT provided and players are responsible for bringing their own lunch.

No refunds will be given. However, any cancellation made prior to 48 hours before the start time of the camper's session will be issued in the form of a credit to be used toward any future Total Skills event, team, or training.
